About

I’m Ragil Setianjaya, a DevOps Engineer with experience across cloud infrastructure, Linux system administration, containers, CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Ceph storage.

My current focus is DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure: building stable environments, automating deployment workflows, improving reliability, and understanding how systems work from the server level up to the platform layer.

I use this notebook to document research notes, technical learning, small experiments, and reflections from things I encounter while working and learning.

Technical Focus

Areas I often explore include:

  • Linux system administration;
  • DevOps culture and CI/CD;
  • Docker and containerization;
  • Kubernetes administration;
  • OpenStack and cloud infrastructure;
  • Ceph storage;
  • KVM virtualization;
  • logging, monitoring, and infrastructure troubleshooting;
  • Google Cloud Platform.

Experience Snapshot

I have worked across several technical and operational roles, from network engineering and cloud engineering to service operations and DevOps engineering.

Some relevant experience includes:

  • managing Linux systems and Google Cloud Platform environments;
  • building and maintaining CI/CD workflows with GitLab Runner;
  • containerizing applications with Docker;
  • deploying and administering OpenStack environments;
  • integrating OpenStack with Ceph cluster storage;
  • deploying Kubernetes clusters and integrating them with Ceph;
  • provisioning virtual machines with Terraform;
  • integrating Docker/Kubernetes workflows with Jenkins;
  • building logging and monitoring for infrastructure.
